I noted its Georgian architecture and dedication to locally-sourced dining, elements that suggest a distinctly Derbyshire experience. Guests consistently praise the spacious and well-equipped rooms, particularly noting the high ceilings and comfortable beds in rooms like the Curzon Room, which features a roll-top bath and rainfall shower. The breakfast also receives high marks for its quality, with top-notch sausages and bacon, though some have found the breakfast experience disappointing on occasion.
